Surau at Lot 10

It is embarassing to admit that the surau at this shopping complex is too 'dhaif' compared to the status of the complex. It is located at 5th floor, you have to take exit door to the surau.

Surau at Pavilion

The surau at Pavilion is located at 5th floor. It is hidden and you have to follow signage.

I like it because;
1. Heavy traffic, at low period - the cleaner would be there to dry-up the floor. Therefore you never felt alone and very rare you are the only one in the surau.
2. It is very simple but well equipped.

I don't like it because;
1. The route to the surau is like going through a maze - a small lane of 3-5 feet wide. If there is an emergency, definitely many people would be trapped inside this lane.

Surau at Hilton KL Sentral

This is my favorite surau. It is located at 5th floor -- parking lot.
I wished other public places provide facilities as of this hotel.

I like it because;
1. Only the surau located at this floor. Yet there is no eery feeling about being alone as many people are using the lift at this floow.
2. Surau is well designed and well equipped. This is the only surau that I am comfortable to use their 'telekung'. I think they washed 'telekungs' regularly. Telekungs are hanged in a wardrobe.

I don't like it because;
1. Err....I could not find any

Surau at JW Marriot Kuala Lumpur

Surau at JW Marriot Kuala Lumpur is located at basement - same level with grand ballroom. Therefore it is convinient for those attending function at the grand ballroom to sneak out for a prayer.

I like it because;
1. A lovely surau that you may just love to be in. Although I was alone there and it was extremely quite. I felt very comfortable that I ended up reading quran after my solat.
2. It is not big but well equipped.

I don't like it because;
1. It is located at the basement, same level with the grand ballroom. It is deserted if the ballroom is not in used. Ladies should go in pair, just in case!
