Positive:
They conduct "solat berjemaah". I was almost in tears when I discovered that and in tears as I wrote this note. Never experienced that at surau (except at residential areas).
They practise - use and return concept. You'll take the prayer mat as when you want to pray, after that returned it back to its place.
Negative:
Toilets are at the other end. Make sure you do your business first.
